About the Role
We’re seeking a skilled Tree Worker / Groundsman to join our team based in Atherton, working across Far North Queensland and remote regions.
This is a hands-on role with clear progression into leadership for the right person.
Key Duties
- Ground support for tree climbers/EWP Operators (rigging, pruning, removals)
- Operate chainsaws, woodchippers, stump grinders
- Lead small crews on-site (especially during remote work)
- Assist with job planning and logistics
- Perform basic maintenance on trucks and equipment
- Ensure safe work practices and high-quality outcomes
- Communicate with clients on-site

Requirements
- MR Truck Licence (essential)
- White Card or Blue Card
- Proven experience in arboriculture or tree work
- Experience with rigging and ground operations
- Strong safety awareness
- Ability to work both locally and remotely
Highly Regarded
- Experience leading crews
- Cert III in Arboriculture (or working towards)
- Mechanical aptitude (equipment maintenance)
