Arborist Groundsman
Arborist Groundsman / Skid Steer Operator position with Trim Ya Trees, a locally owned and operated arborist business based in Albany, WA. The role involves operating mini skid steer loaders, handling timber, and providing ground support for tree removal and pruning work within a small, professional tree services crew focused on quality workmanship, safety, reliability and a healthy work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating mini skid steer loaders and handling timber
- Feeding the wood chipper and assisting with site cleanup
- Ground support for tree removal and pruning
- Ropes, rigging assistance and general site duties within your training and competency
- Maintaining machinery and keeping worksites clean and organised
About You
- Current driver’s licence – essential
- Skid steer operating experience – essential
- Reliable, punctual and ready to work
- Physically capable of performing outdoor manual work
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Previous arboriculture or tree industry experience highly regarded
