Nursery Hand
We are looking for responsible and motivated Experienced Nursery Hands to join our Grow Centre Team. Be part of one of the largest production nurseries for indoor plants in Australia.
Immediate start available.
Key Responsibilities
- Selecting and picking plants for orders
- Preparing plants for dispatch
- Pruning, staking, fertilising and weeding plants
- Cleaning and blocking Nursery Beds
- Potting up of plants
Key Attributes
- Be fit and healthy (this is a physically demanding role)
- Willing to work as part of an all-weathers, outdoor Team environment
- Follows directions easily
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with initiative to take action
- Eye for detail with plant maintenance and presentation
- Plant knowledge and experience with nursery machinery a must
- Own vehicle and drivers licence essential
- Spray Ticket an advantage
- Fork Lift ticket and advantage
Hours are 6am to 2.30pm Monday to Friday, hourly rate based experience.
