Nursery / Garden Centre Role
A casual position working in a nursery and garden centre environment, available hours are From Monday to Saturday. Up to 30 hours are available. 36 hour could be possible for a person with the right experience. Position being offered is a level 4 position under the General Retail Award.
Key Responsibilities
- Work outdoors in high temperatures
- Use a cash register
- Follow instructions and adhere to procedures
- Detailing merchandising and maintaining Green life
- Unloading Trucks and pricing stock
- Use of a forklift
About You
- Physically fit and able to carry up to 15kg
- Capable of learning how to use a cash register
- Reliable and able to follow instructions
- General interest in plants and desire to work in the nursery industry
- Forklift license (advantageous)
- General retail experience (advantageous)
- Experience using a cash register (advantageous)
- Experience in nurseries and garden centres
- Experience working in an outdoor environment
