The Role
As a Nursery Hand at JD Propagation you will help our team rise to the next level of success. You and the team will be responsible for producing millions of Vegetative, Seed and Tissue Culture raised young plants.
At JD we proudly maintain an exceptional standard of quality in our nursery and consistently aim to raise this standard. To support this you will work closely with the growing and production teams across the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a high level of hygiene throughout the nursery and production facility
- Maintain records and ensure stock meets grow profiles
- Liase with the operations team to ensure the growing process is streamlined
- Computer controlled greenhouse learning opportunities
- Mixing bulk liquid fertiliser recipes to growing profiles.
- Growth control and monitoring including TC quality checks
- Spacing, moving and trimming Plug Crops
- Liaising with mother stock and cutting teams to ensure cuttings are of excellent quality
