Hello Hello Plants is a leading family-run nursery known for its warm, friendly team and passion for plants. Located in Campbellfield, we pride ourselves on offering one of Melbourne’s largest ranges of trees, shrubs, and garden plants.
We’re looking for a skilled Nursery Person to join our growing team, someone passionate about horticulture and ready to help maintain the quality and health of our nursery stock while supporting day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the health and presentation of nursery plants through watering, fertilising, pruning, pest management, and other horticultural practices.
- Select and prepare plants for customer orders, deliveries, and display areas.
- Assisted with stock receiving, inspection, and storage
- Ensure nursery facilities and equipment are well maintained.
- Assist customers with advice on plant care, maintenance, and suitable species.
- Labelled plants accurately with relevant information for identification and sale
- Assisted with stock receiving, inspection, and storage
- Contributed to daily nursery operations while maintaining high standards of plant quality and presentation
- Maintained cleanliness and organization across the nursery
- Utilised Microsoft Excel and logistics software to track inventory and monitor order deliveries
- Performed plant care and maintenance, including potting, watering, pruning, fertilizing, re-potting, and general upkeep
- Monitored plant health, identifying pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies, and assisted in applying appropriate treatments
What We’re Looking For
- At least two years of relevant nursery or horticultural experience, or a
- Certificate III or IV in Horticulture (or equivalent qualification)
- Strong plant knowledge and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, physically fit, and capable of performing manual tasks.
- Enthusiastic about plants and working outdoors.
- Must have own transport.
