Arborist Groundsman
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Arborist Groundsman to join our team. This role involves assisting with a variety of tree care and arboriculture tasks, supporting our arborists on-site, and helping maintain safe and efficient operations.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the arboriculture industry. While experience is beneficial, it is not essential as training can be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting arborists with tree pruning, removal, and general tree work
- Operating and maintaining equipment safely
- Site clean-up including handling branches, logs, and debris
- Assisting with rigging and ground support during tree operations
- Driving company vehicles when required
- Maintaining a safe work environment for the team and public
Requirements
- MR (Medium Rigid) Truck Licence – essential
- White Card – essential
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour
- Ability to work well within a team
- Experience in arboriculture, landscaping, or similar outdoor work is beneficial but not required
