Vineyard Operator / Vineyard Removal Worker
FABAL manages approximately 1,600 hectares of vineyards throughout Australia, including Padthaway, Barossa Valley, Clare Valley, Langhorne Creek, McLaren Vale, Adelaide Hills, Heathcote and Margaret River. We are a growing business focused on producing premium wine grapes from some of Australia’s best viticultural areas.
About the Role
We’re looking for Vineyard Operators and Vineyard Removal Workers to join our team in the Langhorne Creek wine region. This hands-on role supports both ongoing vineyard maintenance and vineyard removal works and is available for an immediate start.
You’ll work under supervision to carry out vineyard operations and removal activities to a high standard of quality, safety, and sustainability. The role includes a range of tasks, from manual labour through to machinery operation.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Carry out allocated vineyard operations and vineyard removal activities within established guidelines.
- Safely operate and maintain vineyard equipment and machinery, including forklifts where required.
- Report any issues or anomalies promptly to your supervisor.
- Communicate effectively with your supervisor, team members, and contractors.
- Uphold health, safety, quality, and environmental standards at all times.
What You’ll Bring
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Current driver’s license.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Available for an immediate start.
Highly Desirable
- High Risk Forklift Licence (LF)
Desirable
- Previous vineyard, viticulture, or agricultural experience.
- Experience with vineyard removal or land-clearing work.
- Excavator licence and experience.
