Vineyard Hand
Mountadam Vineyards is a medium sized Australian family owned winery located in the High Eden sub-region of Eden Valley Barossa, South Australia. Mountadam is seeking a full-time vineyard hand to join our small team. Working alongside our small team you will have the opportunity to work across 147 hectares of estate vines. Prior experience within the vineyard is preferred but not a pre-requisite. Australian citizenship/residency.
Job Responsibilities
- Tractor operation
- Disease and weed control programs
- Irrigation maintenance
- Pruning and post upkeep
- Forklift operation
This role gives you the opportunity to see all operations at Mountadam from vine to bottle. The role requires forklift and truck driving in the vintage period.
Requirements
- Prior experience within the vineyard or agriculture sector is preferred but not a pre-requisite
- A passion and basic understanding of vineyards
- Ability to work autonomously and in a small team
- Strong communication with all members of the team
- A good attitude, strong work ethic, willing to get your hands dirty, attention to detail and organisation
- Australian drivers license
- Australian forklift license
- Australian residency
