About the Role
Mansfield’s Propagation Nursery is seeking experienced, reliable, positive and self-motivated nursery professionals to join our Growing and Picking teams. Whether your experience is primarily in Growing, Picking, Despatch or general Nursery Production, we encourage you to apply. Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring plant growth, quality and plant health
- Grading and picking customer orders
- Labelling and maintaining plant stock
- Tubestock maintenance
- Stock movement and watering
- Supporting irrigation, greenhouse climate and growing requirements
- Identifying and reporting pest and disease issues
- Supporting spray and nutrition programs
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation
- Working with the team to achieve production targets
About You
- Previous experience in a commercial nursery or horticultural production environment
- Experience in Growing, Picking, Despatch or general Nursery Production
- Reliable, hardworking and self-motivated
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Can work effectively in a fast-paced, highly productive environment
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Take pride in plant quality and attention to detail
- Physically capable of manual work and working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Genuine interest in horticulture and continuous improvement
- Experience with Bunnings stock is highly regarded for Picking positions
