The Role
As Nursery Manager, you will drive end‑to‑end production, delivering high‑quality plant output aligned to demand and profitability. You will optimise processes, manage stock, and lead daily operations with a strong focus on performance and quality. In this hybrid role, you will also gain exposure across the business, contributing to stakeholder engagement and digital initiatives. What You’ll Tackle Daily
In this role, you will lead nursery production and operations, while also building team capability and improving processes. Here’s a taste of what you will be doing:
- Develop and execute annual nursery production plans aligned with sales forecasts
- Optimise plant production processes to improve efficiency and profitability
- Oversee stock control, procurement, and resource management
- Manage pest, weed, and disease control programmes
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high performing nursery team

What You Bring to the Table

- Extensive experience in nursery management or plant production
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Knowledge of propagation, irrigation, and pest management
- Experience managing stock control and operational processes
- Understanding of compliance standards such as DPIV, NIASA, Eco Hort
- Ability to manage budgets and financial targets
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
