Irrigation Technician / Foreman
Urbanscapes & Constructions is seeking an experienced and qualified Irrigation Technician / Foreman to join our team in Townsville.
We are looking for someone who can confidently take ownership of commercial irrigation projects from start to finish, working across our projects throughout North Queensland.
Previous commercial irrigation experience and relevant industry certification are essential.
The Role
- Lead commercial irrigation works from start to finish
- Read and interpret irrigation plans and specifications
- Install and commission irrigation systems
- Program controllers and diagnose system faults
- Troubleshoot and resolve irrigation issues on site
- Manage your own works, timelines and quality
- Coordinate materials and project requirements
- Liaise with project managers, clients and site teams
- Operate excavators and skid steers
- Ensure works are completed safely and to project specifications
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ irrigation experience
- Relevant Irrigation/Horticulture qualification
- Strong commercial landscape irrigation experience
- Experience programming controllers and diagnosing faults
- Ability to read and interpret irrigation plans
- Proven ability to run irrigation works independently
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- White Card
- Current driver’s licence
- Experience operating excavators and skid steers
