Horticulturist
Our large garden centre is located in Geelong. We have over an acre of plants, pots, homewares and garden accessories. We are looking for a friendly, experienced horticultural sales person, able to perform the vast array of tasks required in a retail garden centre. We are looking for someone that has initiative, and would be able to lead the nursery when the owner/manager is not present.
The role will involve a mix of weekday and weekend work.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must have a minimum of Certificate 3 in Horticulture or relevant industry experience. Applicants with landscaping backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.

- You are a friendly, team player
- You have customer service and greenlife sales experience
- You are able to identify plant pests and diseases, and know how to manage them
- You are able to perform all aspects of greenlife and nursery maintenance
- You are able to perform carrying/lifting as required
- You bring energy and possess great attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Forklift licence and/or manual car licence is a bonus
