Harvesting Team Member
We are looking for reliable and hardworking team members to join our vegetable and herb farming operation. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, being part of a team, and taking pride in producing high-quality fresh produce.
The role primarily includes harvesting, washing and packing fresh vegetables and herbs with some farm maintenance and farm hand duties
Duties & Responsibilities
Main Role
- Harvesting vegetables and herbs by hand
- Washing and cleaning produce to food safety standards
- Packing and preparing orders for customers
- Field maintenance including weeding and crop care
- Assisting with planting
Farm Managers may also need assistance with:
- General farm tasks
- Cleaning and maintaining wash stations and work areas
- General farm hand duties as required
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable and punctual
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment – e.g. harvesting a specific amount produce per day.
- Strong attention to detail and hygiene
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Previous farm or harvest experience is preferred
Requirements
- Full Time work
- Driver’s licence and reliable transport preferred
- Ability to perform manual handling and repetitive tasks
- Availability for early starts and seasonal workloads
- Forklift Licence preferred but not essential
- Tractor driving experience preferred
