As a member of Minda’s Envirocare team, this position is primarily responsible for providing ongoing grounds maintenance and gardening services to fulfill external contract requirements.
The role will suit an experienced horticulturalist looking for more than just another job. Here, you’ll also mentor Supported Employees, and provide practical guidance to help them build skills and independence. This is your chance to combine great spaces and people, whilst having an impact.
What you’ll do
- Maintain lawns, gardens and outdoor spaces – mowing, pruning, planting, fertilising and general upkeep.
- Operate and maintain tools, machinery and irrigation systems safely.
- Provide guidance to Supported Employees who work for Envirocare, helping them to build practical skills and independence in a workplace setting.
- Work as part of a supportive team and workplace.
What you’ll bring
- Formal horticulture qualifications and gardening experience.
- A genuine love of working outdoors and creating environments.
- A patient, supportive and encouraging nature to support others build practical skills
- Confidence using garden tools, machinery and equipment safely.
- Reliable, positive and a strong team player
