The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Experienced Greenkeeper / Groundsman to join our dedicated and close-knit team. Reporting to the Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent, you will help maintain and present the golf course and surrounding grounds to the highest standards expected by the Club.
With a current course improvement and redevelopment project in progress, this is an exciting opportunity for a motivated experienced greenkeeper / groundsman to be involved not only in course maintenance but also in construction and renovation works that will shape the next chapter of Newcastle Golf Club’s proud history.
This is a full-time role (38 hours per week), primarily Monday to Friday, with regular weekend work and occasional overtime. Newcastle Golf Club offers above-award wages and pays penalty rates where applicable.
Position Requirements
- Previous experience working on a golf course
- Skilled in operating machinery and tools
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong teamwork and ability to follow instructions
- Positive attitude and reliable work ethic
- Enjoy working outdoors in varying weather conditions
