Greenkeeper
Join the team caring for one of the Sunshine Coast’s well-established golf courses. Nambour Golf Club is looking for a hardworking, reliable Greenkeeper / Groundsman to help present our course to the highest standard, day in and day out.
Full-time is our preference, but we’re genuinely open to part-time arrangements for the right person.
Working alongside our grounds team and reporting to the Course Superintendent, you’ll play a hands-on role in the daily upkeep, presentation and improvement of the course — no two days are the same. Duties include:
- Mowing greens, tees, fairways and rough
- Daily course set-up for member and competition play
- Operating and maintaining turf machinery and equipment
- Irrigation, drainage and construction projects
- Bunker maintenance and general course presentation
- Turf renovation (aerating, top-dressing) and ongoing improvement projects
- Fertiliser/chemical application as qualified and directed
About You
Qualified greenkeepers welcome — we’re just as keen to hear from experienced groundskeepers, turf labourers, or motivated candidates wanting to build a career in the industry
- Certificate III in Sports Turf Management (or working towards one) highly regarded but not essential
- Comfortable operating mowers, tractors and turf equipment
- Current driver’s licence essential
- Happy to start early — this is a sunrise trade
- A genuine work ethic, pride in presentation, and good judgement
- Happy to work the odd Saturday morning on a rotating roster
- Full working rights in Australia
