Gardening and Grounds Attendant

Binna Burra Mountain Lodge is seeking a dedicated Gardening and Grounds Attendant to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is located in Binna Burra, QLD 4211 and will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and vibrancy of our stunning natural surroundings.

What you’ll be doing

1. Carrying out general gardening and landscaping duties, including mowing, edging, weeding, and mulching
2. Maintaining the grounds and gardens to a high standard, ensuring they are well-kept and presentable
3. Assisting with the installation and upkeep of plants, shrubs, and other greenery
4. Performing regular inspections and identifying any issues or areas requiring attention
5. Collaborating with the wider maintenance team to ensure a cohesive approach to property upkeep
6. Adhering to all relevant health and safety guidelines and procedures

What we’re looking for

1. Previous experience in a gardening or grounds maintenance role, ideally within the hospitality or tourism industry
2. Strong knowledge of horticulture, landscaping, and the appropriate care and handling of various plant species
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality results
4. Keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining exceptional standards
5. Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks in an outdoor environment
6. Excellent time management and organisational skills
