Gardener
Bloom Gardens Melbourne is seeking a support Gardener to join our growing gardening and landscaping business.
You will play a role in the efficient and effective delivery of our services to our valued clients across Melbourne’s inner East, Southeast, Bayside, Mornington Peninsula and surrounding areas.
This is a full-time position, based out of our Moorabbin office.
What you’ll be doing
- Put safety first, and embed OH&S practices at all times.
- Work in teams teams of 2-3 gardeners, supported by a lead gardener to deliver each job to achieve time and quality requirements.
- Assist in maintenance of tools and equipment, ensuring they are clean and maintained as needed.
- Our typical working hours are between 7am and 3pm, Monday through Friday.
- Our full-time support team provide you with a clear job description, scheduling, customer communication, vehicle, tools, material supplies and all other administrative help needed.
- Learn and grow into a Lead Gardener with support from the business.
What we’re looking for
- Certificate III in Horticulture.
- Valid Australian driver’s licence.
- Must have permanent right to work in Australia and be willing to undergo police background check.
- Current chemical handling certificate or willingness to obtain.
- Physical fitness to perform manual labour, lifting, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
