Experienced Gardener / Horticulturist

We are a high-end garden maintenance company working across Toorak and Melbourne’s inner south-east. We specialise in premium, regular garden maintenance for a loyal private client base, with occasional softscape and planting projects. Our focus is on quality, precision, and long-term garden care.
We are a small and growing team offering the opportunity to work in exceptional, well-maintained private gardens where strong horticultural knowledge and high presentation standards are essential.
The Role Involves
- High-quality garden maintenance, including weeding, edging, and mowing
- Exceptional hedging and pruning to a premium standard
- Advanced plant and lawn care, including correct product selection and application
- Diagnosis and treatment of plant pests and diseases
- Irrigation checks, seasonal programming, and basic troubleshooting
- Maintaining overall garden presentation and detail
- Occasional planting and softscape works
- Correct use, care, and routine maintenance of garden tools and equipment
You Must Have
- A minimum of three years’ experience in high-end garden maintenance
- Extensive knowledge of plant pests, diseases, and treatment programs
- Strong plant identification and horticultural knowledge across ornamental gardens
- Experience working to high presentation standards in premium private gardens
- A reliable, hard-working, and detail-focused approach
- A polite and professional manner with clients
- Strong time management and communication skills
- The ability to work well within a small team environment
- Relevant qualifications in horticulture or related field
- Australian permanent residency or citizenship is required
- A current full driver’s licence is essential for this position.
