We are Batt Brothers Vegetation Management, a passionate and dedicated family-owned business with a vision to provide customers with top-notch services in the vegetation management field.
Since establishing in 2009, we have worked tirelessly to build a reliable, reputable and professional business that is widely respected within the industry.
Our operations span across Victoria with depots in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne and Bairnsdale, East Gippsland. We have a diverse range of work, serving multiple councils, government agencies, residential and commercial clients.
At Batt Brothers, no job is too big or too small. Our services are highly varied and range from reactive council works, machine works such as forestry mulching, powerline clearing, bushland management, stump grinding and climbing.
Who we are looking for
We are seeking motivated and passionate people to join the team on a full-time basis, experience a definite plus (but not a deal breaker).
You should be safety focused, an excellent communicator with management, clients and the team and have a solid can-do attitude.
You will be responsible for various duties including operating an EWP and chipper, safety observation and daily pre-starts and risk assessments, climbing (if qualified), truck driving, machine operation and ground-based tasks.
Ideally you will have
- Certificate 2 ESI Powerline Vegetation Control
- White Card
- First Aid
- EWP licence
- MR truck licence
For advanced positions you must hold
- Certificate 3 Arboriculture
- Diploma of Arboriculture
(Certificate 3 Arboriculture is the minimum qualification required for advanced positions).
