Qualified Arborist
The Tree Barber is seeking an experienced Arborist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the care and maintenance of trees in a safe and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Tree climbing, pruning, and removal using industry-standard techniques.
- Operation of chainsaws and wood chippers.
- Conducting tree risk assessments and providing client recommendations.
- Ensuring compliance with WorkSafe and industry safety standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 1 years of hands-on arborist experience.
- Certificate III in Arboriculture (AQF Level 3) or equivalent overseas qualification.
- Proficiency in climbing and rigging techniques.
- Current chainsaw competency or demonstrated equivalent.
- Working at Heights certificate or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Desirable
- Certificate IV in Arboriculture.
