Apprentice Greenkeeper
Job Description
The Dubbo Golf Club invites persons interested in pursuing a career in turf management to apply for the above position. Successful applicants will be enthusiastic, reliable, able to work some weekend shifts and be prepared to obtain formal qualifications through TAFE. Applicants should have an interest in turf/horticulture management, having an understanding of golf is an advantage.
What you will need:
- Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including rostered weekend work.
- To be reliable, highly motivated with a good work ethic.
- An understanding of golf is advantageous but not essential.
- Be able to work unsupervised and in a small team.
- Good communication skills.
- Must have Drivers License and own transportation.
Please note, this role does require the right applicant to travel and stay away from home on a periodic basis for TAFE.
